These uniforms turned out to be a *lot* more work than we had expected :-)
Countless Monday night sewing sessions, countless episodes of "John Sinclair - the Ghosthunter", countless metres of gold braiding (around 12 - 15 metres per uniform to be exact .. plus around 40 golden buttons on each uniform jacket ..) - when we look at it now, we had absolutely *NO* idea what we let ourselves in when we decided to sew those 18th century navy uniforms as seen in "Star Trek - Generations". We thought it would be major blast to have five people show up in those uniforms (and little did we know!)

Now, since manufacturing the outfits itself obviously wasn't trouble enough (or alternately, because we were all completely out of our minds back then!!). We also decided to put a whole stage performance for the Fed Con 8 Fancy Dress Competition together :-) .

(We made 1st place for best group btw, tied with The Data Family). For some impressions of our performance, check out the photos below.

The photos in the first row were sent to me by someone, unfortunately, I do not know where they come from. If these pics should be your own, (or if you know on which site they were originally displayed) *please* contact the webmistess as we would love to keep them on our site and give proper credits!!
